Historic Structures
The Big Horn County Historical Society invites you to take a journey through our website to learn more about Big Horn County.
The museum has an easy access off I-90 at Exit 497, just 15 miles west of the famous Battle of the Little Bighorn National Monument.
The Museum complex is located on 35 acres and consists of twenty-four historic structures; four exhibit buildings and the main building, which features a large gallery, offices, visitor center and a gift shop.
The museum complex continues to develop and guests will see the latest efforts as they tour the site and find buildings that are in different stages of restoration. The continuing development is a testimony to the commitment and the strength of the partnership of private and public efforts to preserve the heritage of our area.
We believe your visit will be both enjoyable and educational and we encourage you to be our guest.
